Paneer, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, cashew, almond, bay leaf, black cardamom, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin, coriander, black pepper, garam masala, Kasuri methi, cumin, cinnamon, green cardamom, fat fennel, butter, cooking oil, and cream are required to create Sahi paneer.

Shahi Paneer Ingredients:-

  • 300g cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2-inch ginger
  • 10 garlic
  • 10-12 cashew nuts
  • 10-12 almonds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/3 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon
  • 1-2 green cardamom
  • 1/2 thick fennel
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 3 tsp cooking oil
  • 2 tsp cream

How to make Shahi Paneer:-

To make Shahi Paneer, cut the paneer into small pieces.

Then put 2 spoons of oil in the pan and fry the paneer shallow. After frying, take it out on a plate.

Then put 1 teaspoon oil, bay leaves, thick cardamom, cashew, almond, garlic, ginger, chopped onion, tomato, salt, and a little water in the same pan and cook it for 5 minutes so that the tomatoes become soft.

After 5 minutes, when tomato becomes soft. Then remove the bay leaves and big cardamom, grind the remaining in the mixer, and prepare the paste.

Then put 4 spoons of oil, cumin, green cardamom, cinnamon, and mace in the pan and let it crackle.

Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and ground spices and mix it well. Then add coriander powder, cumin powder, and black pepper powder and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes, so it boils well.

When it comes to a boil, add 1/2 cup of water, mix it well, and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes, when it comes to a boil, add 1 teaspoon of honey, garam masala, fried paneer, and salt and mix it and cook it for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, add kasoori fenugreek, 2 spoons of fresh cream, mix it and turn off the flame.

After turning off the gas, add 1 teaspoon butter and mix well.

Paneer is ready.

Important Tips:-

  • After adding cream to Shahi Paneer, turn off the gas. Otherwise, the cream may burst.
  • If you want, add sugar instead of honey to Shahi Paneer.
  • You can make Shahi Paneer in oil or butter.
